I've lived in my house for almost 18 months, and I was still ordering from my old Chinese Delivery. Today, I'm a Lone Ranger, and starving for Chinese.
China Chef is located on SW 9th, just South of McKinley. I might have ordered from there a kid in my parent's old apartment, I but don't remember.
Let me just start by saying that it arrived really fast. I was advised of 40 or so minutes, but it actually arrived in about 20.
I ordered my favorite little guilty pleasure, Pot Stickers. They're plump little guys, I figured they'd be amazing. They're good, but they're more like mini Chinese calzones. Extremely thick wrapper and very little filling. The dipping sauce is awesome. Not the best, but really good. I did eat the whole order, so yeah.
Egg rolls: Little, greasy bastards. Standard sweet and sour sauce Not great.
Sesame Beef: Not tough, no overly sweet. Pretty good, not mind blowing though.
The side of rice was really, really bland.
I didn't order soup, since I don't really care for Egg Drop or Sweet and Sour.
Overall, eh. Solid Chinese delivery. Will I order it again? Probably not.
I don't know if it was an off night or if all the good reviewers are super high before eating.
