Americana - Des Moines

I've ordered to-go from Americana on a few occasions, and have never been disappointed.  In fact, every time I order, I'm further delighted.  It's really that good.

Pizza Hut's New Hand Tossed Pizza

I know, I know...  This blog is for local food only.

I decided that on occasion, I can make an exception when something really deserves to be reviewed.  And, holy shit, does the new Pizza Hut Hand Tossed pizza deserve it.

In a word: Ew.  Two?  Fucking ew.

Tacopocalypse

This will be pretty short.

Just wanted to say that I found Tacopocalypse to be so fucking good, it made me hate them a little bit.   I'll have a more detailed post up soon, but seriously, go to there.  You will regret only that you hadn't done it sooner.

Jethro's 'n Jake's Revisited

Sweet baby lord.  Jethro's is amazing.  I'm sitting here, full of meat and happy about it.

Taki Japanese Steakhouse - Urbandale

Now, I don't venture into the 'burbs if I don't have to.  But I bought a car at CarMax in Urbandale yesterday, so we stopped and at Taki on the way home.

It's pretty damn good.

China Chef - Delivery
